Discuss your program

Control over complexity, at sea, in the air and on land

As Defence programs grow in scale and sophistication, so does the risk of integration issues, cost overruns and capability that falls short of operational need.

Systems engineering is the discipline that connects program management to engineering delivery. It keeps the whole capability in view, manages change and complexity systematically, and removes late surprises, which is why we support Navy, Air Force and Army programs across the full capability lifecycle.

Integrated services across the capability lifecycle

Our engineers develop operational and support concepts, define architectures, manage requirements from capture through to evidence-based test and evaluation, and run configuration, change and integration control, aligned to ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook.

Model-based, secure by design

We apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML) to give every stakeholder one authoritative view of the system, and we trace security and resilience requirements alongside mission requirements, so cyber assurance is engineered in, not reconciled at the end.

Our domains

Maritime platforms

Surface combatants, submarines and support vessels bring combat, platform and communications systems together in a confined, safety-critical environment. We engineer those interfaces so the ship fights, floats and communicates as one system.

  • Combat and mission system integration
  • Platform management and control systems
  • Maritime C4ISR and communications
  • Seaworthiness evidence and assurance

Security-cleared and clearance-eligible specialists for Defence, government and critical infrastructure, engineers and consultants who already understand the frameworks, systems and environments they will work in.

Every person we put forward has been assessed by the practitioners who do this work every day, so you get capability you can trust from day one, not just a CV.

Why Difiza People

  1. 01
    Cleared talent specialists

A focus on security-cleared and clearance-eligible professionals for Defence, national security and government programs.

  2. 02
    Engineers assess engineers

Every candidate is technically interviewed by a practising Difiza engineer or consultant who knows the role.

  3. 03
    Niche skills on demand

The hardest roles to fill: cyber, security architecture, systems engineering, governance and assurance.

  4. 04
Right fit, not just right skills

We match on capability and on how a person will work within your team, culture and operating environment.

Practitioner-led cyber security, engineering and assurance training for teams working in Defence, government and regulated environments.

Training is delivered through the Australian School of Cyber Security Engineering (ASCSE), a Difiza company. Courses are shaped by the same programs we support, so teams learn how to interpret security requirements, make defensible decisions and prepare the evidence needed for assurance and accreditation, not just how those requirements are written in policy.

Approach

Why Choose Difiza

Designing, deploying, and sustaining secure systems across critical infrastructure is a complex engineering challenge. Public and private sector organisations must ensure their systems remain resilient, defensible, and aligned to mission objectives in environments where disruption has significant operational and national consequences.

Weak architecture, fragmented controls, and delayed security integration create systemic risk, increase cost, and expose organisations to compromise, failure, and regulatory pressure.

Difiza addresses this challenge through an engineering led approach that integrates cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and systems engineering.

We deliver security by design across the full system lifecycle, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability are embedded from the outset.

Our strength lies in combining researchers and engineers within a single delivery model.

Our researchers develop advanced methods in cyber resilience, system modelling, and threat intelligence integration.

Our engineers translate these into architectures, platforms, and deployable solutions that perform in real world environments.

01

This tight coupling between research and engineering ensures innovation is practical, validated, and operational.

02

Our capability spans critical infrastructure, defence, and complex enterprise systems.

We apply research driven insights, engineering discipline, and proprietary platforms to provide continuous visibility of cyber posture and enable informed, risk based decision making.

03

Difiza's team identifies systemic risks early, validates designs against real world threat conditions, and ensures systems remain resilient under stress.

We do not just assess security, we engineer it into systems that must perform when failure is not an option.
